About Us

Ashton Frey, the founder of HAPI, is a native Houstonian who regularly commutes downtown for pole vaulting sessions. He once saw a colorful overpass on the way to practice which later compelled him to tour the murals scattered across Houston. These experiences gave him a sense of happiness. After connecting the dots, he aspired to install more art along the highways so that others could experience the same happiness he felt.
